Where to find your member number

The easiest way to find your member number is by logging in into your member account, either on the web portal or in our mobile app.

  1. On the web portal, your member number will be visible in your dashboard, by expanding the “Member number” section below your return stats. Alternatively, you can go to the member number page via the main menu on top of the dashboard.

  2. On the mobile app, you’ll find your member number within the Wallet section, or you can tap on the Profile link at the top right of the screen to view your number and account details.

If you are the manager of an organisation's account, you’ll be able to view both your personal and your organisation’s number by switching to the organisation’s tab in the web portal dashboard, or alongside your personal number in the Wallet and Profile on the mobile app.

Provide your member number with all returned 10¢ containers to ensure that your refund can be correctly processed. Your member number streamlines the refund process as it enables you to receive refunds into your bank or PayPal account, or even to donate refunds automatically to a charity of your choice. Tagging bags and bins with your member number

When you return 10¢ containers to one of our refund points or by booking a Collect service, you’ll need to ensure that all your bags and bins have a visible tag attached with your member number or the member number of the organisation you are returning the containers for.

Tagging is especially important if you choose to return with a contactless method (such as Collect or by using a Drop & Go station) where you won’t interact with refund point staff. The tag will ensure your containers are not lost and your refunds are correctly processed.

You can purchase tags and stickers to write on your member number in our shop.

Scanning your member number

When you return your 10¢ containers to one of our Self-serve Kiosks the machine will give you the option to scan your member number for a faster transaction. Your member number comes with a barcode to facilitate this process.

To make the scanning process easier, choose one of the three following methods to have your member number handy on your mobile phone:

  1. Log in to your member web portal on your phone and open the Member Number section to show the barcodes.
  2. Download your member number into your mobile device digital wallet. You can do so from the member web portal or our mobile app where you’ll find the options to download your member number to your iOS or Android device.
  3. Open the mobile app and go to the Wallet section. There you’ll find your member number with its code.

Once you have the barcode/QR code for your member number clearly showing on your mobile screen, hold your screen up close to the reader for it to scan.
