When you sign up for a member number you will be asked for the details of either your bank account or your PayPal account. Selecting a bank account allows us to easily deposit your refund directly into your nominated account via an electronic funds transfer (EFT). Once your containers have been counted and processed by the container refund point operator, your refund will go straight into your nominated bank or PayPal account.

If you’re visiting a container refund point that counts your containers on the spot, you’ll need to show your driver’s licence if you return more than 825 containers and sign a refund declaration form if you return more than 1,500 containers at one time. The container refund point operator can refuse to accept your containers if you don’t provide your licence or sign the form.
