Sea World Foundation and Containers for Change have announced an exciting new partnership aimed at tackling ocean pollution and promoting recycling efforts across Queensland. The collaboration marks a significant step forward in a shared mission to safeguard marine life and conserve our precious ocean environment.

As part of this partnership, Sea World visitors can now recycle their drink containers via dedicated container bins throughout the park. For every container recycled, 10 cents will be donated to Sea World Foundation, helping to fund vital marine research, rescue, and conservation efforts.

Queenslanders can choose to make even more change for this great cause by donating their own container refunds at home too.

When taking containers to a refund point or using home collection, using a Sea World Foundation member number amplifies the impact of their recycling efforts.

Containers for Change is also proud to be the presenting partner for Sea World’s feature Seal Guardian Presentation. The talented seal stars will be demonstrating how to recycle containers, educating over a million visitors each year in a fun, engaging way.

Look for the bins when you next visit Sea World and tag us in your pictures from the day!
