Paws for a cause

We’re so excited to announce Containers for Change has partnered with RSPCA Queensland!

As part of this collaboration, when you visit RSPCA Queensland at Wacol, you’ll find our green Containers for Change bins across the premises including in the Adoption Centre and Black Cat Café. 

There’s also a large drop off bin located near the onsite op shop where you can drop off donations as well as containers. 

Not only are you doing your bit for the planet by recycling your containers, but the best part is that the 10-cent refund from every container deposited into these green bins will be channelled directly through to RSPCA Queensland as a fundraising donation.

Your contribution will support the important work RSPCA Queensland does to help animals across their programs including the shelter, vet hospital, wildlife hospital and foster and adoption programs.

It takes just 11 containers to help feed one koala, 15 containers to provide for a guinea pig and 25 containers to help feed a puppy for a day.

To get involved, recycle your containers in the onsite donation bins or donate your container refund at any of our container refund points across the state, using the RSPCA Queensland member number C10242545.
